Darlington Cricket Club has played host to a couple of International Clubs along with numerous County Teams.

 

In 1901 the South African Tourists travelled to Feethams to play Durham County.

In 1923 the West Indies came to Feethams to play Durham.

More recently......

In 1984 Durham played Northamptonshire in the National Westminster Bank Trophy.

In 1987 Durham played Middlesex in the National Westminster Bank Trophy.

In 1988 Minor Counties played Northamptonshire in the Benson & Hedges Cup.

            Durham played Somerset in the National Westminster Bank Trophy.

In 1989 Durham played Middlesex in the National Westminster Bank Trophy.

In 1991 Durham County played Glamorgan in the NatWest Trophy.

            Minor Counties played West Indies 

In 1992 Durham County played Somerset in the Britannic Assurance Championship.

            Durham County played Hampshire in the Britannic Assurance Championship.

  Yorkshire turned up to play Durham County in the first Sunday League match between the two Counties.

 

             But ended up going back home again without a ball being bowled.

In 1993 Durham County played Kent in the Britannic Assurance Championship and Sunday League.

             Durham County played Warwickshire in the Britannic Assurance Championship and Sunday League.

In 1994 Durham County played Surrey in the Britannic Assurance Championship and Sunday League.

             Durham played Derbyshire in the NatWest Trophy.

In 1995 Durham County played Worcestershire in the Britannic Assurance Championship and Sunday League.

In 1997 Durham County played Kent in the Britannic Assurance Championship and Sunday League.

In 1998 Durham County played Leicestershire in the Britannic Assurance Championship and Sunday League.

In 2000 Durham County played Derbyshire in the Britannic Assurance Championship and Sunday League.

In 2001 BBC Radio Cleveland played the cast from Emmerdale in a Charity Cricket Match in aid of BBC Children in Need.

In 2002 Durham County played Derbyshire in the Frizzell County Championship.
